Therapeutic Use:
Indications for ALOMIDE:
Vernal conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, or keratitis.
Adults and Children:
<2yrs: not recommended. ≥2yrs: 1–2 drops 4 times daily for up to 3 months.
Contraindications:
Do not wear soft contact lenses during treatment.
Warnings/Precautions:
Pregnancy (Cat.B). Nursing mothers.
Pharmacological Class:
Mast cell stabilizer.
Adverse Reactions:
Transient burning, stinging or discomfort, pruritus, blurred vision, dry eye, discharge, hyperemia, crystalline deposits, foreign body sensation, headache.
